My wife looked for weeks for a place to book our company Christmas party. Not only did anywhere have space, but we had to find somewhere that would accommodate a bunch of UPS drivers who survive the holiday season on Ibuprofen, Caffeine, and hate. A place where we could be loud and obnoxious, showcasing our amazing vocal abilities and superhero like ability to hold alcohol. Luckily, this pub not only had the space, but tolerated us all with surprisingly cheap drinks and great food! Not only that, but had karaoke that night, hosted by a superstar named Flo. Not only did she put on a good show, but also showcased her charismatic ability to be funny sarcastic, which we as drivers, much appreciated and fed off of! I would most certainly recommened this pub with the karaoke star. So much so, that we've discussed holding future events here!
My husband and I decided to go here for dinner after not having been in over a decade. They have definitely updated the place. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We didn't have room for dessert but will be back for the deep-fried cheesecake!
i had sherry as my server on thursday, and she was the most amazing server i had ever had! she was so attentive and made sure everything we had was up to par and exactly what we wanted! mid way through our meal sherry sadly informed us that she had the end her shift and we had to be switched to another server who was rene and she totally changed the vibes in a negative vibe. i love this pub but i would never come back unless i had sherry because was the only server i have only ever enjoyed while dining in your establishment!

Wow. I had the 2 piece fish subbed a salad and also came with fresh grated cabbage cole slaw. This was an amazing plate of food. The cod was fresh and battered and fried perfectly. The garden side was so fresh and delicious. Great menu and so reasonable for pricing. The 2 pieces of fish were the size of 2 trout. They were huge.
Got a group of about 25 in on short notice. So thankful for the can do attitude. Service was great. Food very good. Handy place near the NIC.
Stopped off for dinner on our trip back up to Courtenay, Great atmosphere, kids welcome (hours permitted) fast service , amazing value I got the fish and Chips well worth it Wife got beef dip Son got grilled cheese Appy was mozzarella sticks Jinglepot pub is our go to spot everytime My photo don't do it justice
We had a great lunch here yesterday! The portions were generous and the pricing was great. They had a decent selection of on tap beers as well.
